I am outfitting my 56 power wagon for backwoods camping in the Huron National Forest and want everything I use to be period or as close to as I can get. I'd love nothing more than to carry your products along for the ride. I will definitely be attempting all four season.

I recently purchased this wool blanket, and while it’s warm and well-made, I’ve noticed it’s been triggering some unexpected severe allergic reactions like a runny nose and constant sneezing. As someone who regularly uses wool without any issues, this has me wondering if there’s something specific in the materials or treatment of this blanket that might be causing the reaction, as soon as I put it away the sneezing stops . It’s also heavier than most of the wool blankets I own, which adds to my curiosity.

Very sorry to leave 2 stars. As always my experience with Minus33, the quality of the fabric is 5+ stars. In this case with the blankets (I ordered 2), the color represented in the photos is just too inaccurate. I ordered the blue green plaid, the colors are so dark it appears black and there is no contrast between colors. If I did not have to pay shipping (they are heavy--good quality), I would exchange them. If colors matter to you, please keep this in mind.

I ordered a brown and tan plaid blanket a while back and was pleased at how soft it was. Months later, I ordered the red plaid version and it feels thin and flat. Disappointing.

I ordered two of these and am pretty happy with them. The colors and patterns are nice. They are a little stiff out of the package and also after a wash, BUT if you follow the directions and use a liquid fabric softener they get much softer.
I did minus one star because I would prefer higher wool content, especially at this price. But the blankets are warm, look good, and feel good.
If you've ever used a good wool blanket, then you will know exactly what you're getting. Some expect anything wool from Minus33 to be very soft and cozy, but this blanket is build to be used and to last. Therefore you must understand that while you are still getting a relatively soft blanket, it's not going to be the same kind of soft as the merino v neck you purchased. This is not scratchy, like the old wool blankets your grandparents had by any means, just want to set the expectation that it's not shirt material either. Great blanket to use on the sofa, take camping, or keep in the car for emergencies or spontaneous picnics!

This blanket is great! It is super warm. Even though it is a wool blend it is still very soft. So far it has only seen my couch but soon it will be out in the wilderness with me. I am confident it will be a valued addition to my camping kit. At 6'2" I only wish it was slightly larger.
