I bought this for when the weather gets colder. Right out of the package the hat seems nice. It's snug without being tight. Hopefully it doesn't stretch and become loose. They ask you to review a product right after you purchase without time to really use it so I really don't have anything else to say about the product.

Warm and soft

This beanie is extremely nice and soft. It fits my head perfectly and just for reference the circumference of my forehead with the bottom of the measuring tape 1" above the top of my ears is 22-1/2". I have an industrial piercing in my right ear that gets aggravated by tight beanies after a short period of time and this one does not do that. It's really stretchy tho and it seems like it would definitely fit someone with a bigger circumference. If you have a really tiny head, I'm not sure if I would get the "rib knit " , it might feel a little loose, unless of course that's what your going for. Also, it fits me perfectly and looks great either rolled up once or pulled back in the slacker style.

Excellent hat for cold and cool weather. Merino wool is the best temperature regulating garment I’ve used. It even keeps me warm when wet. Just like wool is supposed to do. It’s not itchy at all, machine washable and machine dry. Excellent piece for everyday use and I even wear under my hunting hat in subzero temperatures. Excellent hat! Do not hesitate, buy one or two today. Midweight is a great all around option.

Big enough for my big head

This is my new favorite hat! It is generously sized and doesn’t pinch my head like most hats do. The merino wool is warm, soft, and non-itchy. I love the bold color of Royal Blue and only wish it would be offered in more colors!

Great winter hat!

Great combo of warm & breathable. Wore it out & about (errands & hiking less than an hour) down to high 20s. Warm but not a lot of sweating. Can't speak to extreme cold - hasn't been since I got it.
