    steve - :

Best shirt I own! Heavier weight than my other (competitor's) lightweight wool shirt. Feels sturdy and stitching looks high quality. This is probably a little too warm for me for summer hiking (NM mountains stay 60-70 deg), but perfect for summer night campfire shirt, spring and fall hiking, and layering. 4-1/2 stars because it does itch slightly compared to (same competitor's wool shirt). Still it is the nicer of the two wool shorts I wear.

Base Layer
Base Layer

Think of your Base Layer as your second skin. These are your first layers on and your last layers off. These foundation layers should be thermal, moisture-wicking, and breathable. Proper layering of your garments is very important and in extreme cases may save your life. Consider your activities carefully and plan for the unexpected. Learn more about layering.

Regular Fit
Regular Fit

Standard fit with a little bit of room, but not baggy. Works best as a base layer, or when worn alone. Can also be worn as a mid or insulating layer. If you are looking for a tighter, athletic fit, try going to the next size down. Learn About Fit & Sizing.

Tagless Construction
Tagless Construction

Tagless labeling ends the need for a traditional tag. Tagless garments allow for increased comfort by eliminating the itching and scratching associated with a traditional tag.

Flat Lock Seams

Flat lock seams allow for ultimate comfort, preventing chafing and allowing your clothes to move with you. Flat lock seams are stronger, helping your garments last.
