Wore this for the first time today on a winter hike. The fabric is terrific and has a great feel and the gray color is really nice. I really like that it does not have the extra sleeve length and thumb hole. I've had quite enough of that trend and sleeves that are way too long. This weight is perfect for a base layer. The size seems to be true to what I would expect for fit.

Bought this as a layering piece for my winter wardrobe. It is non itchy pure wool, and competitively priced compared to other brands. Very pleased!

Base Layer
Base Layer

Think of your Base Layer as your second skin. These are your first layers on and your last layers off. These foundation layers should be thermal, moisture-wicking, and breathable. Proper layering of your garments is very important and in extreme cases may save your life. Consider your activities carefully and plan for the unexpected.

Regular Fit
Regular Fit

Standard fit with a little bit of room, but not baggy. Works best as a base layer, or when worn alone. Can also be worn as a mid or insulating layer. If you are looking for a tighter, athletic fit, try going to the next size down.

Tagless Construction
Tagless Construction

Tagless labeling ends the need for a traditional tag. Tagless garments allow for increased comfort by eliminating the itching and scratching associated with a traditional tag.

Princess Seams
Princess Seams

Princess seams are rounded seams that are sewn into women's shirts or blouses. These seams add shaping or a tailored fit to closely follow a woman's shape.

Flat Lock Seams
Flat Lock Seams

Flat lock seams allow for ultimate comfort, preventing chafing and allowing your clothes to move with you. Flat lock seams are stronger, helping your garments last.
